March 14-16, 2025
Every Lenten season we begin with the same image, remembering Jesus’ journey into the wilderness at the promptings of the Holy Spirit. There we see him, each year, conquering the temptations of the enemy, and overcoming what Adam and Eve could not in the garden.
What if Jesus is still driven into the wilderness today; but this wilderness is instead the wilderness of the human heart?
During this retreat we will journey with Jesus, not to an external place, but into our own hearts; rending our hearts not our garments. For, there is still more conquering and restoring that Jesus longs to do so that he might reign in our hearts and in the world.
